I've never had a dump valve fitted to my last rturbo,
but fancy trying one on the MY01.
I dont really want anything too loud but it would be terrible to
have had a couple of turbo cars and not tried one even once.
Any ideas??????

On a similar note do Subaru supply an after-market dump valve?

I gotta respect the warranty

Have a pal which has just got a forge unit put on his MY01, he had only got it that day when i last saw him so im not too sure what its like, if its anything like the forge on my MY00 then i can tell you it aint too loud but you can hear it dump.

Maybe if Paul (VKL) sees this thread he could comment on the one on the MY01.

As regard to the bailey valve , i dont know if they make one for a flange mounted type DV. But i guess that all it needs to fit is an adaptor plate.

Guys,

I have one in the garage that has only done about 8000 miles.

God knows what it is but I will find out tomorrow and post.

It needs a new home as the car has gone.

Sad, but it sounded great

Sorry to ask a silly, ignorant question (from a girlie!), what's a dump valve? Jen

Cool

Hello Maxy?

The dump valve sounds great (Forge Motorsport Astmospheric). Never had one before so can't comment on any performance, go for it and buy it!!

Yep, thought so.

Mine is a Forge Atmo jobby, has done 8000ish miles and sounds great.

Cost £170 (through dealer) so warranty was OK.

Car gone so first sensible offer and it's gone.
