Equal length headers!
Having some Equal length headers fitted to my 2004 WRX in the next couple of weeks or so, and was just wondering what the sounds like compared to the standard headers, is it noticebly louder and does it sound like a superbike on full chat.
Also the car has a sports cat downpipe, decat uppipe and non resenated decat midsection with GGR backbox, it sounds perfect at the moment it sounds quite on tickover and then over 4k rpm it howls, just hoping it isnt to loud when adding the headers.

The main effect, apart from a little more power, will be the loss of the burble. The deristricted nature of the rest of your system will keep it deep and rumbly at low revs, and it will scream at high revs, but the base engine note will be more like ordinary cars not a Scoob A heavy sacrifice for a little more power
