Default Hi all, any advice on impreza purchase.

Hi all,
I'm looking at moving into the realm of Imprreza ownership. Just wondering if amongst the wealth of knowledge there seems to be around here, anyone can offer any advice on purchasing a 2nd hand Impreza WRX. I'm budgeting approx 10>11k, so looking at around a '52 plate bug eye, I want to purchase from a reputable dealer preferably.

Any advice on things to look out for and recommendations on places to look would be much appreciated. I'm based in the north west, subaru dealerships do seem a bit pricy!
Many thanks

Matt

Hello and welcome. There is plenty of advice. Try "buying advice" in the search at the top of the page. You're about right with your budget for a 52 car from a dealer. Good luck

If I had a budget of £10-11k, I would try to find a MY03 WRX blobeye. The bugeyes are not a good investment unless you are planning on keeping the car for a long time. You may like the look of them, but not many other people do, as is reflected in their second hand values... Also, if you can get a private MY03 with a two year extended warranty, all the better!

Just my 2p worth.

Mark.
