Default Haggling with dealers?

I've saved up some cash for some new toys for my scoobs:

Prodrive springs & geometry setup

Prodrive spoiler

PFF7s or Titanium Oz 10spoke

Thats quite alot of money all in

Can i use that as a bargaining tool to get the price down like you do with the car itself? ie can you haggle much with the price of parts at subaru dealerships?

Ive looked on fleabay and asked on here but no luck secondhand or on websites so genuine delear bought parts it is

Cheers

Yes mate . . Its always worth a try . .But it also help if you bought the car from the dealer . . .Personally, I am thinking of retrofitting quick shift for my Scoob, and if indeed he starts to stall and waffle, I will politely hint I will take the car somewhere else . .

Especially, as there are two dealers closer to meby abt 30 miles!

I would first get some quotes, see who offers best, and to use my favorite phrase of all time - " In the interests of your good name and our good relations, would you consider bettering your price" - or something like that .. . .If the dealer is truly set on a lond term customer he might budge!

Good Luck!

Cheers for that

My first port of call was going to be the dealer i bought it from. But i have a few within a resonable driving distance that i could ask also for a price.

Thanks again

No problem mate! Hope that helped you a little . . . Was only wondering if I could ask you a small favour . . .

If it's not too much trouble, could you at some stage send me a private message to let me know how it went, and what dealer you used . .I'm not too sure abt yr location, but if yr using any of the dealers in Essex (where I got my car), yr feed back will be great help, when its my turn to haggle!

Cheers!

i went to my local for some parts, the wheels which they had in stock, they would discount, but other parts such as the spoiler, they wouldnt really budge on. so i guess its going to be a hit and miss thing

as for the wheels, REVOLUTION who advertise on here had some REAL prodive wheels, not the replicas and they were offered at a good price, probably worth checking out
