Default waste gate noise

right guys how do i get the waste gate noise ( the air cutting through the fins etc,etc ) on my old cossie you had to put a indution kit and block off the vacuum pipe , ive heard some classics with this noise but how do you get it on the newage sti without being a bit thick has anyone done it

Ive got an induction kit and a dump valve take off which is bloked off - my wastgate chatters very loud indeed - louder infact than my cossie i used to have.

cheers andy dont suppose you have any pictures as ive got a baileys on her at the mo and i wouldnt know how to do the block off job

correct me if i,m wrong, but dosent blocking the DV negate the effect that it needs to do, and is using air pressure to stall the turbo, i thought the whole purpose of the DV was to prevent that backpressure on the turbo vanes,

I also thought that a recirc dv was the better route, as it reduced the spooling time for the turbo,

I get a realy good chatter, no d/v rotated Garret turbo and Tail wategate, does the buisness
