Why must time stop when you buy your first Scooby?

Skunk - I know the feeling, I couldn't sleep for a week until I picked my pride and joy up ... it will be worth the wait!

Just do what I did - go on holiday for 2 weeks and pick it up the day you return. You have a great time and as you are about to hit a low you get your car to put a smile back on your face.

NAP6W - did exactly the same a few years ago when I was trading up to a Punto GT from a 1.1s. The holiday was great and the journey home even better ... last few days dragged though.
Skunk - best to take Shark's advice on board!!

Bought my MY99 5 door Turbo 3 weeks ago this Friday.
Was awake till 01:00 on the day before pickup. Got no sleep and was at the dealer 1 hour before I was supposed to!
Did 420 miles in the first weekend.
I feel like a little kid with a new toy .... a very fast toy at that !

As a small plus point I do get to spend the weekend sourcing a new head unit for the car
I may be limited to Kenwood or Alpine cause I want one that plays MP3 data disks so I can finally make use of my 20gb mp3 collection
/looks back fondly on the days of Napster and thanks the stars for the likes of Kazaa and Limewire
