Im fairly new to the scooby world (but am loving it!!) My RB5 has a tek 2 to chip, blitz induction kit and full stainless exhaust (front cat removed) it was dyno about 6 months ago and is running about 280 bhp (so im told?) I was told the vf 35 would give me about 330 bhp! does this sound about right? Is there any other reasonably priced mods I could do to get these sort of power gains? Thanx for your help.

yes it will fit no probs. I have one on the Forester
You'll need a proper map to a) get the most of it and b) keep it safe.
330 is about it for a vf35

old boy, I have done the same mod with the same engine as yours. It produced 333BHP and all the process was detailed in a project thread (in 'projects'). The only advice I can give you is that an uprated top mount i/c or if you want to butcher the bumper then a front mount i/c is required to get the best from the turbo. You will also need to make sure that the waste gate is ported to avoid boost creep - PM me for more details as I can help you here.
