help with tracking
Just had 2 new tyers put on today, the inside edge had well gone on both tyres on the old ones,the bloke in the shop said the tracking was fine may be geometry needs looking at. The new tyres put on are avon zz3 any help lads ??

Different cars have different geometry set ups, some of which create premature wear on the inner edge, one being fast road settings
If you have the car done again on standard settings this should rectify it.

It certainly seems like a geometry issue (if the tracking is correct) . .This is especially relevant with older cars . .If this is the case, I think the best thing to do is to contact the dealer and get manufacturers settings for camber/caster/toe . .The clowns at the tyre shop should know these but just to be on the safe side . . .
