cheers guys
will be ringing the guy today, so ill let you know any extra details

i went through all of the paper work there was
this car has seen a lot of small mods and has been to nobles atleast once
also the reg number has been changed from the original when it was uk registered

i know what you you mean about bradford though
all the traders up there were talkin the p**s
ALL the cars at one place were obvious ringers

any details on any previous owners still needed please
would have thought that someone might know that car or previous owner
will post back when i get the earlier reg, started D5

thanks for all the help, chris

sem

you can get info from the chassis code which is located on the vin plate in engine bay, assuming all looks genuine with it and it doesnt look like its just be put on, there is a 7 digit code should begin gc..... you can get this code and decode it from the table on this page, this will tell you what the exact model is, i just been through similar searches myself

I resent that comment TBH, I'd be screwed if when I come to sell my car everybody has the same narrowminded view that you have. Granted there are some very dodgy people in bradford, but want makes it different from any other major city in the UK?

Are you suggesting that to buy a decent legit car that you will only find them in a small village in the middle of nowhere? FFS

I got food poisoning from an Indian Restraunt in Luton once - So Whatever you do do not buy a curry in Luton as they all have poor sanitation and food prep and you will get food poisoning!

What a daft comment, Does Bradford have the monopoly on dodgy cars or did a mate of a mate of a mate buy a pup i wonder.

Like all areas it has bad spots and the odd dodgy car or three for sale, go in with your eyes open ask the right questions, do your homewrok on the models and walk away from anything suspisious.

If you are not competant then take someone who is or get it inpsected by the RAC/AA or such.

Ha... fame at last..!!

It is 'i' dhorwich...

Ive sent you an email mate... the car used to have a private plate on it thats why it was changed... I sold it to buy an EVO 5 a year ago..

The car was sold to a trader from a company called RA motors the guy used to sell cars on scoobynet all the time, and was not a debt...!!!! Think his user name was RAF1 or something... have a search on scoobynet using his username..

I know we seem to tar bradford for ringers and dodgy dealings however, I feel that a lot of them are quite founded.
The trader is full of scoobs from Bradford, most of them pretty dodgy looking. My thoughts is that the whole of yorkshire seems to be teaming with dodgy scoobs.

I'm going to hide now

Default Jap Performance uk

Just been reading the post just had to insert my exerience...

I bought a scoob from Bradford after looking at approx a dozen wrx's!, not just in bradford but Lincoln, Derbyshire etc, finally got my hands on a clean tidy example.

And i would strongly reccommend anyone looking out for a scoob to check out Jap Performance, they have some very tidy stock... www.japperformanceuk.co.uk

Never let an area put you off buying a car, as mentioned previously do your homework & get a professional inspection.
