Thumbs up

I have on a couple of ocassions using my jet wash, i bought some engine cleaner from halfords and it comes up a treat, i always have someone inside the car with the engine running to avoid possible stalling.

I'd advise covering anything electrical with a plastic bag. Stuff like alarm, fuse box, you know the sort of thing, black plastic and wires going in.....possibly the intercooler as well.

dont power wash your intercooler! it will bend the fins every shape and destroy it.

I've done my sti a few times, covered the induction kit up so that excess water didnt force itself in, some of the electrics etc and avoided keeping it pointed at any item for more than a second or so.

ran like crap for 20 mins after but looked great.
(extra person is car is a necessity).

Exclamation

Avoid spraying your alarm siren, as it can all go pear shaped if it gets water logged.

Be careful of the rubbers where the door windows meet the door - I cot my pressure washer to close once and it mangles them and they look a complete mess.........
