Hi all

I need to find out how much a set (4) of Bridgestone Potenzas (16") weigh for shipping purposes.

Any ideas people?

Neil,
I have just weighed a Bridgestone Potenza RE010 205/15-16 which has 5mm of tread, compared to 7mm ish when new and it was 10Kg, like Hoppy said.

Are you a fisherman Hoppy? Did you guess the weight? or did you get the bathroom scales out like me

Just out of interest I also wighed a brand new MY00 6 spoke alloy with Bridgestone Potenza RE010 205/50-16 tyre fitted and the all up weight was 17.5Kg.

So therefore the tyre wighs more than the rim!
10Kg versus 7.5Kg. Would you credit it.

Cheers MTR
