anyone know anything about these? they are 60% lighter than stock apparently and are neary a grand to buy! worth it?
i know its a different car, but on the duke skyline dvd, shin inoue has one on his skyline and he reckons it improves acceleration and braking big time!

Nice to have but cost is £800 + so that could buy you a turbo or whatever.
Perhaps a long way down the list of essentials for a fast road car for not very signifigant weight savings.

 

it's not just a turbo though is it? what about re-map, intercooler, injectors e.t.c.??

 

In respect of power for pounds (£s) it will be, as Harvey indicates, beneficial much further down the modification route, when everything else is to the limit.

What are you current modifications to make you interested in it?

These are very good bits of kit, but personally I wouldn't bother until I was so far down the line I needed it.
