Does anyone know if it is a simple straight forward operation to change the driving flange ( propshaft - diff ) on the rear diff on a subaru. The locating ring on a legacy propshaft is larger than that of an impreza, and the propshaft will not locate onto the flange properly.
Swapping driving flanges looks easier than altering the propshafts. Also, have all flanges necessary, dont really want the hassle/wasting time getting someone to modify the prop.

Hi

I converted my Legacy GTB from auto to manual and used the gearbox and rear diff of a UK Turbo, but used a manual legacy propshaft that fitted with no problems

Paul, did you encounter any electrical problems with your conversion. The car I helped convert from auto-manual is idling at 1500 rpm???? I tried to email you, but it bounced back? Please contact if you can help
Thanks, Stevie
