So, Spark plugs, takes 15 mins TOP - yet..........

Don't most average garages charge 2 hours labour, or am i wrong.
It took me about 30 mins the first time then about 10-15 once worked out how to do it best.
Anyone been charged loads for this service ??

6 Mins! You being serious. Ruddy Nora. That's pretty impressive IMO. Took me 10 mins just to tighten up a couple of loose bolts that the garage left on the coil packs......

Are these times including the time it takes to get all the tools out of the garage, or is it from a perpared start?
Three mins seams a bit quick, you do have to check the gap, and give them a quick clean with a wire brush, not just take them out and then put them back in!
There is very little on a car that you can not do at home. OK you don't get the dealers stamp in the log book, but you probably save more money than the deperciation in value by not having FSH. You can always write in the book what you have done and when.
Go on get your hands dirty.

Careful - it will take DIYers longer than 6 mins to find the back two. Once you have done it once it is straightforward (after you find the tools)
The only plugs that ever stuck me completely where on an ZX6R. Apparently you need as special spanner, but you can't see the 4th plug from anywhere
