sti5 type r v-limited what it does and does not have
ok have been doing a lot of searching to ind this question out have had lots off great help but i am still going around in little circles so does eny bodey own
a wrx sti type r v-limited version 5 that is in the same spec as this list. that is sure there car is a v limited
the car that i am looking at has the following parts
sonic blue paint
aluminium bodey parts
roof vent
air con
water spray
sti strut brace in engine
dccd
no abs
electric mirrors
this car also has short ratios 1-5 but i think u could pick when the car was new the choice between the shorter 5 or longer . but this i could be wrong as well
and does not have these
limited edition plaque
blue seats this one has (grey with red seats)
and the car in question is a v 5

Its got the longer 5th. I think this was a 'factory option' but am no expert. I suppose the best way to check to see what it is would be using the chassis number to eradicate any doubt.

applied model code comes back as v5 wrx sti type r v-limited but the satndard type r v5 as the same so what would i be able to work out from the vin number

If it comes back as a v.5 type r then thats what it is. What makes it a v.ltd is the colour (sonic blue) and the roof vent. Think those are the only differences between a std type r and a v.ltd (both ver.5). You might also have a 13:1 quickrack as the 22b had but if memory serves me right, only the ver.6 v.ltd had this fitted.
