Default Car??

Just been looking on-line for a potential Scooby purchase and came across what looked like a PPP Turbo 2000.

Spoken via e-mail to the owner who says it isn't a prodrive (Got a sticker on the car...)

Checked an insurance website and put in the number plate from the picture.

The car came up as SUBARU IMPREZA 2.0T (99-99) RB5 AWD 1994cc 4DR rather than the TURBO I was expecting....

Car has been slightly modded (TEK 2 ECU UPGRADE, Alloys, Dump Valve, Induction Kit, SS Exhaust) but comes with all originals - Would probably want to put all the old stuff back on.

Would the Mods have done any real damage in two years?
How much could I expect to pay to have the car returned to original?
How much might I expect for the parts if I sold them (To cover the cost of putting the originals back on)??

I'm no expert on classics mate, but is it a RB5 model then? was a special edition, think they only came in dary grey and had Speedline alloys..

The tek 2 is an ECU reflash which gives similar results to the PPP, if it was mapped properly, should be fine and will give you PPP performance, you can't 'remove' the remap unless you sold the whole ECU, but a bit pointless really. Junk the dump valve and the induction kit IMO not worth much though, and if you wish you could get a standard exhaust off here for say £50 odd.

I realized it was a Turbo, I meant standard Turbo 2000 rather than a RB5

Ask the seller what number the RB5 is .... and then post the reply on www.rb5oc.co.uk to see if its known to the club!
