Hay

Do you need tools to fit a panel filter (1995 WRX)

Is it easy

Why didn't Steve McQueen make it over the fence

1) 12mm socket and extention bars
2) cordless drill

take 2 12mm bolts off at bottom of airbox....before you undo the 2nd bolt closer to the window screen take off the maf hose...you will then be able to get to the second 12mm bolt, lift the airbox out by pulling it away from the wing as the cold air feed is attached...now undo the screws with the cordless and replace with new filter and out back together...5 min max.

honnest m8 its a **** easy job, open bonnet and look at the airbox (big plastic thing)....you will see a connection on the maf sensor...take this off and then undo the 12mm bolts underneath the box its self....you will see the first 12mm towards the front of the car...the second one is hidden underneath the hose which is connected to the maf....take this hose off and then you will see the second 12mm bolt.....undo this and the box will pull off, replace filter and put back together.

Can't help you with an airbox on a 95 wrx, but......

Steve McQueen didn't make it over the fence because his velocity and launch angle calculations were all wrong. I believe he also seriously underestimated the kerb weight of his 1961 Triumph TR6 Trophy.

Rich.

he would have had a far better chance of escape if he had hung on a little longer for a german with a hayabusa or maybe gsxr-1000.this would have given him a lot better chance of clearing the said obstacle but he may have been edging his bets waiting for another 40 or so years for these bikes to become available.
on saying that he would not have needed to make the jump then because the war would have been won and he could have merrily skipped across the border ,whilst whistling his favourite girls aloud track.
