Have you driven a BMW? I have owned a 52 plate bugeye, a ppp classic and at present have a 330i bmw. The 330 would have demolished the bugeye in any situation apart from a standing start! The ppp classic would do the same to the beemer all the time!! Thing is mate scoobs aren't the fastest cars on the road... It all depends on which models you are comparing.

Therefore it should waste our scoobs on their home ground, otherwise it's utterly irrelevant.

Po the thread is about what is faster, nothing mentions rally or any of the scoobs home ground.
Nobody has yet mention bends so they are not even relevant in this thread, so the video i posted was perfectly acceptable. Just really somethin for the lighthearted guys to look at and admire, regardless of what car we drive.
Not everyone is that narrowmind to dismiss any idea that they dont preach themselves.

put me in mind of that bus drifting vid from the other thread...
However, Bubba's right - over 30 miles of undulating country roads just trying to catch a Fiat Uno 1.0 or keep ahead of a Fiat Uno 1.0 that car would probably end up looking at the stars from the bottom of a ditch....
Still an amazing feat of mechanical engineering...shame it can't fly..

Got to take your hat off to the work that's gone into that, very impressive.
I can appreciate the achievement, but wouldn't want to drive it. Maybe they should limit the boost in the first four gears?

This reminds me of a thread that was running about 4 years ago on here.
Someone on a vauxhall site was saying their vectra would beat every scooby on the road, anyway, loads of the members here joined their site and posted loads of abuse...
..not condoning it, but it was funny!

I do remember when I started driving and had a Citroen BX 1.6, I would get completely demolished and treat like a dirty french frog by what semed to be al BMW drivers. They were so arrogant and since that day I vowed never to get one.
Since then I think the attitude had been transposed from Beemer drivers to Volvo driver............now it is the turn of the Range Rovers. That is the way it is.
However there is a definate sincere feel to the whole Scoob family and as they say in god old Mac's.............I'm luvvvvin it!
