Wagon Info Required Please
Hey everyone,
I'm new to the site and am thinking of changing my car to a scooby estate. I assume they're called wagons? The thing is, I know absolutely nothing about them so was hoping if I tell you what I'm looking for and my approximate budget then you can tell me what I can get.
I'm probably looking to spend about £8k and would like a higher powered car rather than a newer but slower one. I don't know what sort of engine sizes or powers they come in so I'd be greatful if someone could list the range and performaces.
I saw an STi on autotrader that looked pretty sweet, is this the top of the range wagon or are they only available imported?
Here's a pic of my current car, it's a mighly modified BMW E30. I own and run a site for them called www.e30zone.co.uk.

Hi Graham, welcome to the site.
First of all, good choice the Wagon really is the full package
Power, performance and practicality.
For your budget you should be able to get a decent model and
as you have said the STI is the daddy, it was also done as a
newage version but is extremely rare and i think not as much
fun as the classic.
Put your feelers out in the wanted section and good luck
You could also place your budget figure into Autotrader and get
an idea of what your looking at for your money.

Forgot to add, the STI classic is a JDM (Import)version only and
unless it's been remapped for UK fuel will need running on the
highest octane fuel you can get (Usually Optimax or Tesco 99 RON)
plus Octane booster.
