Default expensive or what??

just phoned my local subaru dealer, asking for a new set of ignition leads for my 01 wrx they said they arent leads they are coil packs or something. anyway £66 each+vat!!!!!!!! maybe i wont replace them!!!!

Aye, normal price for coil packs.

Welcome to very expensive <cough, rip off cough> world of aftermarket parts for Subarus (be it genuine or not)

i replaced them a few years ago on a classic scooob i had and they werent cheap but for the 4 it was still only about £110 im sure. was about £200 for the plugs leads and fitting off my local garage but genuine parts from the Subaru dealer

Ive just got back form subaru too, the plastic strip that runs over the car ?

60 bloody quid !!! Cant wait to go in there tomorrow and hand over 60 notes and ask for my little bit of plastic
