Default Changing Model Year 03 STI Rear Spoiler

I have finally decided to get rid of the large STI spoiler on the rear of my scoob in favour of the WRX spoiler I have called a few different garages and the cheapest price I can come up with is £990

Does anyone know of a cheaper way to do this???

I suppose I'll get a few quick back on eBay for the old item but flipping heck What rip-off..............

Any money saving tips Would be greatly appreciated

HOW MUCH.

£990 for a WRX spoiler.

I was thinking of selling my WRX spoiler a few weeks ago for about £40, and when I come to sell my car, buy another one and replace my carbon fibre spoiler. But for £990 I think ill keep hold off it.

The sti boot has more fixings than the wrx, you will need to patch and weld the holes up.
Better off swapping for a wr blue wrx boot complete, just swap the locks over.

I forgot to mention that this price includes a new boot lid and spraying but even so the WRX spoiler is still over £500

Cool

Yep, sounds about right. I was asking the dealer about this the other day.

To replace an STi spoiler with a WRX spoiler the kit includes a new boot + spray, the new WRX spolier sprayed and attached, and a new boot spring kit.

The springs on the STi boot are a lot stronger than the standard items because of the increased weight.

You could of course keep the STi springs on and have a kind of whip lash boot effect going on... Good for knocking your teath out or launching small objects over the car...
