Another Whats it Worth Thread! Sorry!
Seriously thinking about getting an 05 plate WRX STi Type UK in Black. The one I want has just over 4k on it. Anyone know roughly what it should be going for?
Thanks guys!

I paid 18.5k for a my Black MY05 STi PPP with Prodrive alloys & Driving lights in Nov (that was cheap). So yes at 16k I'd have his hand off

All the STi's I've seen in the £16k price bracket have been UK spec, not Type UK. Although I believe some of the warranty fears have recently been resolved, I would make sure of the cars origin before agreeing and confirm it's warranty status with IM. There was a UK spec on the 'Trader website last week with 3.6k for similar money, and if I was considering upgrading I may go that route and sod the warranty and mod the @$$ out of it
Good luck

I'm off down to see the dealer tomorrow for a test drive and a good look around. I'll ask him about the warranty too.
Cheers for the replies guys! Much appreciated

What do you mean by 'noone can live with them'? I was thinking of getting one myself, would be interested to know what the issues/problems are?
I'm looking at an 05 Sti ppp.

You need to read a few more of the threads involving Pete - he will wind you up within an inch of your life..........
Had mine since October and it is a top car - every single journey brings a smile to my face (ignore the 16 to 20 mpg )
Pete has just got 65,000 miles out of his brake pads.........say no more
