Talking Advice on model from japan

Hi all

i intend to buy a scoob from Autoadvan in the next few weeks, i would like to know you veiws on models, i'm going to get one registerd in 1996 to avoid needing a model report, but i want the facelift classic so post oct 96, however most seem to be WRX Sti's i dont want anything with a short ratio gearbox on too lairy as my Type R was just not practical as a daily runner, i cant find any WRX non Sti's on the site (have seen 1 in 3 weeks)

so are WRX STI's too lairy and are WRX non STi's still nippy? should it be a version 3 at this age?? (oct 96 on)

Many thanks

Ray
