Clio running on different sized tyres!
I took the wife's clio in for a new nearside front tyre to Kwik Fit just before Xmas (£100 with tracking) . Over last two weeks on the motorway, but not every trip, lots of warning lights come on - ABS, handbrake, STOP, Service me now!!
I got a diagnostic test from Renault £34. Turns out the new tyre is 185/65, not 185/55. So I'm pretty pissed off with Kwik Fit.
I have all the paperwork and am going to have it out with them tomorrow. I feel the least they owe me is £100 + £34 + good will gesture for all wasted time.
Fortunately I didn't need to brake in a hurry during this time - with already confused ABS - I wonder what the consequences of this would be.
Thoughts?

A 10% difference in aspect ratio is enough to "Confuse" the ABS Computer (As you have found out). If a car is left running on a two poster ramp, the drag through the transmission causing the front (None Scoob car) wheels to turn will eventually illuminate the ABS and SERV lights.
The fault would be shown as an ABS Sensor Signal fault (If you have an ABS Sensor CIRCUIT Fault that is usually a problem with wiring or connection).
