I've got a 1994 WRX which has 17" my03 alloys on it. The tyres are 21/45/17 and the car has been lowered a fait bit on coilovers. I've had no problemas at all with clearance/rubbing, etc, even 4 up.

You should be fine!

ran the same tyres on my old my99 turbo for nearly 6 months with no problems at all, and had kyb's and eibachs on too. You'll be fine m8, I found the handling a bit "softer" than my previous 40's, but otherwise, no difference.

I'd check with the car up on a jack first and see if there is any rubbing. My car is lowered and has 17" wheels, with 225/40/17's on it - there is about a *** papers clearance between the back 'corner' of the tyre and the suspension - if I put 45's on I'm pretty sure they'd be rubbing.

Looking at your pic, your car looks lowered about the same amount as mine ( has Prodrive suspension fitted ) so its worth checking first.

To some extent it seems to also depend on the make of the tyre as some have different profiles and are more square on the edges. Mine has Bridgestone Potenzas on it at the moment.
