Little Problem !!!!
Been out and about today in my my06 wrx when i got back checked the engine and noticed green sticky fluid over the engine, which is quite worrying cause still running her in. Any ideas anyone ????

No need to worry 
The entire car is coated in the stuff before shipping from Japan. It is designed to protect the car from salt and other contaminants. Apparantly it is removed using a superheated jet of water and parafin on the dock side! There is always some residue left on the engine.
