Default fuel cut

Ive been having a problem for a few weeks with fuel cut on my impreza....

Checked the fault code and it turned out to be code 31 - a faulty Throttle position sensor!! So i ordered a new part and fitted it yesterday, used it today, but i still have the same problem!!

Was else could it be? Does the battery need disconecting and connecting again to re-set the ECU?

Help please, as was hoping to sell it tommorow!!! lol!

Cheers in advance.

would reset the ecu to get rid of the error code, and then see how it goes from there.

Have change your fuel recently cos i had to from optimax (great fire of 2005 ) to tesco 99 and since then ive had terrible fuel cut - started boosting from a healthy 1.2bar to 1.5bar then bang fuel cut . So ive bought a dawes device to limit my boost to 1.1bar .

I mix it around really, between tesco's down the road, and Optimax, so always above 97RON....

It's weird. Im going to disconnect the battery tonight, and see if i've still got the problem tommorow evening, when i reconnect it!
