When you say new STi, do you mean brand new or new age?

With the new age MY03 which I have they are pretty much identical, other than the alarm is different I think and the euro cars may not have the underseal.

How it drives compared to a classic you will need to try one and see what you think I guess. No point saying its better or worse as you may look for something different in a car than someone else does.

Hope this helps

I have a EU New Age and the differences are the alarm, no tracker, no locking wheel nuts and that's about it. There was some mention about Underseal, but mine has that, so i dont think that's an issue. Also the warranties. Check with IM for that, as i did first.

Most importers put the alarm and tracker on before you get the car anyway so you wouldnt notice the difference.

I have been in a few classics but not sure if any were standard so cant comment on handling etc Simo. Some people may like understeer, some may like oversteer. All I would say is the new age MY03 understeers when pushed hard.

For me, not interested in a 2.5, sort of detracts from the heritage, would consider the JDM 2.0 tho'

I was told they are mapped for a warmer climate and different fuel - is that likely to be true ?
