believe me ive been trying to get on with forum, honest i have. but im sorry but its full of opinionated idiots, the forum IMO is laid out weird and when you do find something its some idiot moaning about someone else or what someone's done to there own motor or just generally stirrin the brown stuff! some people just seem to forget that these forums are for one type of person, the one with a passion for there impreza!! it dont matter how old you are, where you live, how old your ride is, wot you where or even wot mods you do, so why do some people seem to get spoken down to and insulted for things they do, so im not gonna check this site anymore and im gonna stay at the fun friendly and equal http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/

Sorry you feel that way.
I must admit though, ScoobyNet has been commended by external organisations on how well the community gets on etc and how well behaved we all are. Of course, you will always get certain types of people that try to spoil it for others (which is a very small minority) and that is only further exsaperated (sp?) when a forum and community reaches the size of which ScoobyNet is.

There is alot of banter on the site, but don't let that distract you from the core information that is so valuable to any impreza owner! Great site, friendly people

Personaly, I think the few threads ie, the latest Chav thread, was a laugh. Everyone just trying to wind each other up. Doubt anyone really got upset about it. That's what us brits do best. It's called a sense of humour.

, it's all harmless fun, many undertones are missed with text as opposed to verbal converstaions, there is no nastyness on this site, just opinions and generally what many posters believe to be constructive criticism

As for the layout... I can't see how anyone else could have this many people surfing and be layed out better. The mod's do a great job. I love it.

I think SN's gggrrrreeeaaattt, however each to their own. Can't say as I have received any harsh treatment, more often than not people have a laugh or take the p**s but that's no different to every day life.
Hope you get on better with Scoobycity, personally I'll be staying where I am.

Well I haven't been posting on here very long but it's clear to me - there is SO much useful information about every aspect of Subaru's.There is always alot of useful advise as these people know their cars so well! But they also bring a fun factor to the forum - making it not only useful but entertaining - the site would be s**t if it was just a series of questions on Imprezas with the correct non debated answer!!

But, as has already been pointed out..... nearly all comments are just banter, so this you can ignore (but it may be boring if you do), as there is a helleva lot of good information contained within ScoobyNet. Unfortunately, pure black and white text does not always come across the way it would, would communication be made face to face.
