New to the Scooby scene, I was a little disapppointed to see a distinct lack of meets / rallies etc. publicised in and around the South Yorkshire area. If anyone knows of anthing going on in this neck of the woods then could they please let me know?

They've got a bit disorganised and infrequent these days, but Cheesy and pals in the Chesterfield area still have the odd meet and run. I think they do more during the lighter months.

If Huddersfield isn't too far north for you the WYIOC (West Yorks) guys meet up on the last thursday every month, as well as many other events throughout the year (NBO/Trackdays/TOTB etc) and can often be found traversing Strines and the Snake. Keep an eye on the Northern and WYIOC forums.

welcome matey,Us sheffield lad's usually meet at the carbrook pub opposite meadowhall retail park on the first monday of the month,But it's a bit thin on the groud during the winter months

If your interested,there is a convoy going to sunderland for a japaneese car meet on sunday the 21st,the thread is in the northern section of meets,I think we are meeting at around 1pm at meadowhall retail park

Never knew there was a regular meet at the Carbrook Hall even though I live only 5 minutes away.
I shall have a drive down on the first Monday in Feb and hopefully catch up with a few of the lads that don't mind getting their cars mucky!!

first monday of the month at carbrook,usually around 7.30 pm onward
TOTB crew attend as well,but as said,the first monday meet in december was poor,four turned up,but to be expected in the middle of winter,roll on summer

its a 200+ club meet at the carbrook first monday of the month, but everyone is welcome regardless, turn out in winter is poor usually but come the spring/summer we get a good turn out of jap and other performance cars.
club events being booked now for members for this season include;
Donny show - now at donnington in april
Trax- silverstone
2 rolling road days
2 sprint days at Curbrough
Pod
Elvington- rwyb/sso/totb
trackdays - donnington/elvington/cadwell etc
plus midlands meetings and runs out.
we also did an IOM trip last summer which was fun.

drop me a line if you want more club info, but if you want to just come along to the carbrook meets for a chinwag your more than welcome. if the weather is crap we have use of the big end room inside the pub.

I cant actually make the first monday in feb due to work comittments, but a couple of guys will be there for me, Lee and Tony, if you want a chat with them.

We are planning a few summer runs out again and will join the scoobs for a run into derbyshire also, they have been good in the past,
