9 litres isnt going to get you far to be fair. Probably 30-35 miles, so why push it closer to empty?

The light coming on must vary a bit from car to car. If I fill as soon as the light comes on I get 50 litres in mine.

I can only get 50 litres in mine too but I never let it run dry so a 60 litre tank may be about right.

Whats written in the book is only a general guide. It cant be 100% accurate as the fuels moving about.I bet the light even comes on with different amounts in the tank dependant on braking, cornering and acceleration speeds

60-9= 51

51-49= 2

2 litres, does it matter?

Might get you a few feet further down the road.

Don't push the fuel nozzle so far in the next time, that might help.

I dont know maybe i'm confused.

Fair point, but i'd done quite a few miles after the light came on anyway so knowing what a sti-ppp drinks i wouldn't have had any more than 5 left....it doesn't really matter anyways, just wanted to see what other peeps had with theirs.....does anyone else have a problem with extremely violent acceleration ????
