the brass restrictor on the boost control solenoid return pipe. if this is missing how hard is it to get another one or do i have to buy a new solenoid

If it'smissing let me know and I'll sort you out with a Part number. Or make something yourself out of brass or ally. Just put a hole in it, starting at 1.2mm then adjust to suite. Bigger hole = more boost.
