Number plates

Number plates
Can anyone recommend somewhere to get some new number plates? Need to dump my Motorhouse ones! I've seen a few sellers on ebay but mostly they seem to be 'show' plates whereas I'd like legit ones for normal road use. Be nice to have a Subaru logo on the side and/or in the background or something (not sure exactly what's allowed these days) but don't want anything too fancy.
Thanks.
Thanks.

You could try
http://www.createplates.com/
I got some plates just 2 weeks ago to replace Motorpoint - must be the thing to do !
They are marketed as "show plates" not for road use etc - but I believe this is just a way around the regulations which I think now demand you have to produce registration documents / proof of ownership to get plates.
As far as I can see, the plates I have got are perfectly legal - I went for a std 520 x 112 plate for the front just the same size as Motorpoint plate - then a larger 520 x 152 mm plate (jaguar etc) for the back which fills the space better.
Also went for
Font - std UK 3D
Shadow - normal
Border type - 3
Border colour - blue with GB initials and EU symbol
Manufacture - Subaru with bottom logo incl subaru badge and "SUBARU" text
All this for £30.48 delivered - in 3 days from order !

Was gonna recommend Fancy Plates myself
One note from your request, no logo's are allowed on the side of the plate, presuming you're meaning instead of the GB/EU logo's. Also, nothing is allowed to be ghosted in the background. You can however have small logo's beneath much like the ones car dealers have on their plates. For full legal spec, go HERE.
Most people ignore these rules, but it can give Plod just the excuse they were looking for

- The British Standard Number (currently BS AU 145d)
- The name, trade mark, or other means of identification of the manufacturer or component supplier. (The company who actually make the number plate.)
- The name and postcode of the supplying outlet. (The 'supplying outlet' is taken to mean a company whose business consists wholly or partly of selling number plates.)
- A non-reflective border and the Euro-symbol with the national identification letters are optional additions.
- There shall be no other markings or material contained on the number plate.
