Default newbie never to have a scooby

hello people, just thought i'd introduce myself officially before i start randomly posting. don't own an impreza, and tbh not interested in one for the forseeable future, just a car enthusiast and love jap cars especially.
33, actually 34 on the fourth, bloody hell i forgot about that!!! its the age i tell you married with a beautiful daughter and am driving a modified 200sx S14.
love the car, first car i've owned for so long and have no intention of selling it.
running approx. 260-270 bhp and have bought some stuff and need to buy a couple of things so that in the summer i'll have about 330-340 bhp. more than enough at my age
pic of my car andspec

welome. nice car mate. whatever you do dont let slip that your car has any mods or you will be ridiculed and reffered to as a chav(whatever that means) oh yes and make sure that you consult a dictionary before posting, dont write in capitals, and ensure all grammar is correct as you will get slated, if you are lucky someone may actually reply to your new threads with sensible and constructive comments. as i say welcome

oh well, so i have a choice. first is to be accepted as a chav by you lot or strip my car of its mods. guess what then. I'M A CHAV AND PROUD OF IT!!!!!
i say each to their own. i personally dont like a lot of stuff out there, and generally try to do things that will make my car go faster, corner harder or brake sharper with the odd indulgence here and there. but i wont say they're a chav, i'll just say their cars ****e

rexabusa, you could say i'm into the drift scene just that i'm rubbish at it. been seeing drift vids for a while now but only in the last month have i tried it in my car.
i went to a "local event" and on the first night tried having a go but just kept spinning the car
had some very helpful people there so kept on trying and on a recent "local event" drifted what looked like a 2nd gear roundabout 4 times without stopping!!!! i'm hooked

good stuff , i used to practice on fields - beaches - wet car parks basically any where that didnt knock the s$%t out my drivetrain.
did a couple of figure 8s one night and scrubbed half my tyres, lesson learned
is that a garret t28 you have strapped to it, very impresive spec.
want a swap??????

its a GT28RS, dont know too much about it apart from the fact that its a ball bearing and can easily support 330-350bhp.
my injectors are the weak link at the moment. once i get some 550cc injectors and Z32 afm(300zx air flow metre), i can fit the safcII i've already got, get it mapped and should have 330 odd bhp no problem. thats the theory anyway .
as for swapping, i'm enjoying myself too much in this at the moment, but have always loved scoobies.....

Nice car

Those 300ZX MAFs are sought after on here too, any links to decent prices would be much appreciated

The MAFs on early imprezas max out very early, one way round it is the ZX MAF, especially if using a PFC
