looking for api in scotland or someone who does subarus anyone know any garages i stay in glasgow

I posted a reply on your other thread 'help!!!!' The Engine Room in Motherwell were recommended to me by API. One of their staff used to work with David at API. You will not receive a better service anywhere else.

no just having a problem with it pinking think it might be the coils the boost is fine then when u get up to 5th gear the boost dies and then the car boosts at 8 psi for ages it should be 15psi garage said it was boost solenoid but not sure he is right the boost when working is hitting 18psi in 3rd and 20 psi in 4th so need somone that knows what they are talking about to help

Sounds like old coils not providing much spark and the spark is being blown out under pressure. 4 new coil packs ought to cure it. Fit them yourself if you are even slightly handy with a spanner / screwdriver combination.

We keep coil packs at sensible money and can mail them to you on an overnight courier service.

Alternatively Craig at the Engine Room can help you.

how much for 4 coil packs and set of new plugs should i use 7s or 8s
