If you dont know what your doing then you will blow your engine up, if you have one, id also get a boost gauge or personally, just get a piggyback ecu for your car which is cheaper and safer.

They basically increase your boost but not to a high level, they are safe and are just soldered onto your ecu.
Scoobyecu do these, never used one meself as both the scoobs ive had, have had mappable ecu's.
Your other option, and i take it you own a saloon and not a wagon?
Is to get an ECU from a 95/96 car which is 20ps higher than your own, plus it takes a few gremlins out of the original ecu programming, you could try www.gradea-subaru.co.uk (hope thats right) who are up in hayfield area.

cheers for the advice tony, had a quick look around on the net and thinking of going the fujistu 27c1028 way, which i believe is a safer way to safely up the boost as all the fuelling and original ecu maps are retained.i am led to believe this will give me a further 40 to 50 bhp through boost level of 16-17 psi.scoobyecu.co.uk is th website and to date i dont really know a set price yet as these were on ebay for around the 250 mark.mine is the saloon and only realised they run different turbos than wagons when read this on net.anyway thanks again and maybe my thirst for more power will end after this, although i wait with baited breath
