Question Please Help me see the light...

I am absolutely delighted with my new car 01 wrx which i picked up from my new good friend in Dundee on sat....however it has uk 300 style lights and wooahhhhh id be better of with 2 candles......having spoken to the previous owner he believes that there are 100w bulbs in there.....can anyone offer any assistance as to how very quickly (before a very long night time drive on christmas eve) increase the light power on the car....it really is quite dangerous........
would a better spec 100w bulb be better or can i go brighter...

Strictly speaking, 100w bulbs are illegal for road use. To get the best out of them the looms and relays need to suit the output of the bulb, but it's here where my knowlege ends. IIRC Alcazar (if I've got the right person, he's from Scnuthorpe) is good with this sort of thing. I used to have some 90/130's in an old car. I'm sure you could get some if you looked hard enough.
