Driven round all my local petrol stations today looking for optimax or super unleaded..... and there isnt any! My sti is sitting on the drive now with hardly any petrol in it so i had to fill up a jerry can with normal unleaded to put in tomorrow morning. I have brought some octane boost by nos, will my car be ok with normal unleaded if i use this stuff? I was told when i brought it to only use 97 ron but i don't have much choice at the moment.

Happen'd to me a little while ago, drive of boost until you find a garage that does have super unlead and then fill it all the way, if you use octane booster that should help anyway .

Hi,
i have a 03 sti ppp. I've got 5 squids worth of unleaded in a jerry can, so i'm just going to stick that in with octane boost and hope we have a delivery of optimax soon.
I think everyone has been panic buying around here since the explosion at hemel last week.
