me putting sti parts on my wrx import to increase power or just to ease pressure on engine

Its what I did to mine. Now at 309bhp & 311ftlbs.

I might be missing the point but what 'sti parts' will "ease pressure on engine"?

only fit parts you want to increase power, otherwise->

you need to insure stuff you don't need/want
and you are replacing stuff before it breaks, even though it might not.
and greater power=greater strain (on the whole)



no brainer IMHO

im already running 315 bhp and 287lbs torque but i just wondered if i got a few parts from a higher model scooby than mine it would put less strain on the parts that are on it now


oil pump water pump things like that
