94 or 95 WRX Saloon or Wagon with a .825 fifth gear. Look on the link and check the diff which from memory will be 4.11.

VN5BA (UK) Box. 3.9 F 1.1:1 drop gear. 3.545 R
1 = 3.454 2 = 1.947 3 = 1.366 4 = .972 5 = .738. These gears are MUCH taller than Jap spec VB3FAA. ie More top speed or higher speed in gears but with less acceleration. Fo the Jap box :
1 = 3.454 2 = 2.062 3 = 1.448 4 = 1.088 5 = .825
I trust this helps.
All TY 752 and 754 boxes are interchangeable even though the number of bolt holes on the bell housing may be 4 bolt or 6 bolt.
How you do it depends on your level of knowledge and ability.
You must ensure you have the correct centre diff with either 1.1 :1 (UK) or 1.0:1 (Jap) so that you end up with the same OVERALL ratio F. + R. ie 3.9 or 4.11.
The Jap 4.11 will fit easilly in place of the 3.9 and vice versa.
The centre viscuous is easy to swap over as is the drop gear.
4.11 diff .825 on 16" tyres gives something like 137 mph @ 7k.
4.11 diff .738 on 16"....................................159 mph @ 7K
3.9........738.................................... ...........170ish
All the speeds are approx as they are from memory and subject to the actual tyres in use.
