coz they are greasy as **** at the mo round my way, just witnessed my third head on in 2 days and this one didn't look too good (if there's ever a good one that is)

ambulances, few patrol cars, people crying on the side of the road. not pleasant.

take it easy guys and girls

That's where most 4 wheel drive owners make a mistake they can pull away but forget about stopping

I very nearly had my car written off by a large 4x4 in the snow last year because a he came round a bend in the snow at 40-50 mph in the middle of the road, he didn't expect me to be there (on my side doing 20mph) and swerved to avoid me, narrowly missed me and the last I saw was him doing a nose dive into a ditch and hedge

Did I stop? Did I bollocks the **** deserved it

I agree, Friday = desk driving office bound **** madness on the motoways as they all clock off from work.

I happened to be in the beamer and the traction control was kicking in even on slight throttle when pulling out of junctions, and the roads were perfectly dry, so I kept extra safe braking distances on the whole of my journey.

Noticed 4 accidents on the M-ways on my tarvels today. Makes me wonder if it was because they didn't take the road conditions into account (probable - after the massive amount of p*ss poor driving I noticed when 1/2" of snow fell last week )

Im noticing a bit of oversteer in these conditions in the scooby

Ive noticed the effects cold roads have this week, pulled out of a T junction a bit quick and the **** spun out and went round so fast it caught me off guard completely. Was still in first gear ! ended up facing the kerb.

My buddy saw a young girl in a MG lose it on the M60 this afternoon - lost it right in front of him at 80-90 and smashed into a concrete wall - she was one lucky girl to walk away!!!!

I was following 30 minutes later - the car looked fooked!!!!

Got to admit you're right, I can't remember the time I last saw a desk driven well on a motorway, or even in the twisties. Even the modded high-end desks (double draw units, integral cable trunking etc) you never see beeing driven well.

Seriously, has been a touch greasy of late. Not helped by the increasingly common habit of driving along with your foot resting on the brake pedal so the brake lights are on when you're cruising, so giving people less chance to recognise when you're actually stopping. Nearly witnessed a pile up to that effect in my diesel commute-mobile Friday morning - and only a bit of hard cadence braking saved me from potentially joining in.
