Default Call to FMIC scoobs

One of the best modifications i ever had on my old cossie was a forge rs500 style intercooler.

When i had this fitted to the car it really made a big difference to the power, but that wasnt the best bit...... it was the change of note in the engine, turbo and dump valve. it was amazing.... everone that got in the car firstly said sh*t this is fast, followed by whats those noises, that sounds awsome...

So anyone with a fmic on a scoob..... did it change the tune of the engine for you. i'm thinking of buying one shortly

There is obviously a power increase, but also a noticeable difference in the noise. The biggest of which is lots of wastegate chatter, like on the cossies.

Thats ^ what i wanted to hear.... now... i just need to find one at a sensible price as i've just bought a scoobyecu chip from s.taylor on ebay. pitty that group buy has fallen through on the hybrid ones i would have been tempted with that.

Cheers Moley your words have cost me best part of £400 quid now.

I have got one of the Hybrid ones on mine, very good kit.

There are a few threads in the gallery about fitting it.

I installed a TurboXS FMIC on my '02 WRX and I love it. Though most seem to miss it for some reason.

Get in touch with Harvey on here. He supplies the Hybrid IC and will even fit it for you, if you want him to
