Fitting some new spring to my MY03 WRX.

Got the front springs on fine yesterday but i'm now doing the rears. Got the wheels off and lower suspension strut clamps off but I can't get to the top of the struts. I assumed it would be in the boot but after ripping out all the inner panelling it looks like its under the edges of the rear parcel shelf.

the question is how the hell do i get the rear shelf out? I've tried searching but its pretty hopeless on my PDA here in the garage.

Can someone please have a search for me?

 

answer to your question to acess top rear mounts remove the back seats bottom half first and then top half , all will be revealled!
