Spot Free Filter Wash System
Has anyone tried the Spot Free Filter Wash System

apparently If you wash your car and don’t leather it down afterwards, the water will dry, leaving horrid streaks and marks on the paintwork. This is because the water which runs out of our taps is not pure and it is these impurities which create the residue. Normally, we overcome this by rubbing the car down with a damp leather. Professional valeters, however, will often use a filtration system that allows them to leave the car to dry on its own, without streaks. That’s basically what this product does. How many washes you will get depends on where abouts in the country you live, as the amount of filtration required is dictated by the hardness of the water. In some areas, you can get several hundred washes before a refill is required. And that’s an awful large amount of leathering! As any professional valeter would confirm.
Just wondering if there any good?

The "portable" version i.e. the filter that fits on the end of the hose works well,cannot remember name but available in Halfords and DIY stores.
Cost about £15.00 if I remember correctly.
Consists of "gun" that fits on end of hose,filled with soap to wash car and filter to rinse car.
Works very well.
But need to use bucket and sponge to wash car properely by hand and not just hose it down with soap from the gun and then rinse off.
Washing sequence is ;
1/wet car via gun.
2/soap car via gun
3/hand wash
4/rinse car via gun to get soap off.
5/rinse car with filter unit on gun to wash "unpure "water off
6/Car dries spotless
Very Quick.
Refills available for filters and soap.
