my scooby is sick can you help
I have a scooby which is stuck in third gear.
It had this problem when I got it and it was corrected by pushing two wire couplings together underneath. We have looked for loose wires and can't find any has anybody any other ideas. If so please help as I love my car it is the best car I have ever had. 
At the moment this is how I feel. Please please help before my poor scooby dies.

is it an auto box??
afaik no wires electrical or otherwise have any effect on a manual box
sounds like you have a limiter problem on an auto box..
unless you can see the wires and rejoin them, you ned to get it to someone who knows..
more importantly you need to understand why the "wires" have come apart again and how.
