Cool Impreza Insurance Dropping??

I have been quoted:-

1. £382 from Liverpool and Victoria to include Business Use and Legal Cover

2. £388 from Norwich Union Direct (apparently I was their 'Lucky Caller of the Day!' )

3. £390 from RAC Direct

The premiums have dropped year on year for the past 3 years after steady rises previously ........................

I was going to post in Insurance - but it's actually just a GENERAL SCOOBY observation really.

Age hasn't been an Insurance issue for me - for a long, long time!!

I assume it will start increasing in the years to come??? (the premium that is!)

Actually, my premiums have reduced for the last 3 yrs too - not quite as cheap as Pete's (I'm half his age!), although it's not far off

Who says Imprezas are expensive to run

A mate of mine has just sold his 2003 WRX and bought a 2002 M5 ... he got an £11 refund from his insurance as apparently, it is a cheaper car to insure FFS !!!!!

You have been getting steadily older for the past 3 years, as indeed most of us have (with the exception of Count Dracula). Also the first time you insure a particular car is the most expensive on that car. Dracula probably doesn't have insurance as most police would be too **** scared to do anything, and he could fly out through the window anyway...

The difference in my age over the last 3 years has NO affect whatsoever on my Insurance!!

You kiddies will eventually hit an age where each year does NOT make you cheaper to the Insurance Companies!!

I think the insurance companies have been reading this Forum, and realised PS Lewis doesn't drive fast enough to be considered a risk. They've put him in the "Drives like a Girl" category. Hence the cheap insurance quote.

Oh that made me chuckle

What's the difference between Clint Eastwood and Elton John?

Clint will make your day, Elton your whole week.

(NB you may have to read that aloud )
