Import My06 dealers (noob question)
Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find what i was after seaching the forum.
I'm looking to change my 1998 M3 evolution for an import myo6 WRX. After searching the net I've found the following quoted prices
Allbrandnew - £15,999
Virgin - £16,999
Motorpoint - £16,999
Has anyone used these dealers before and if so can any be recommeded.
Also:
Would I be the first owner on the log book?
Anyone know which countries the cars are imported from?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the link. The warranty issue seems quite a recent problem. When I phoned motor point today they still offered a three year warranty. I'll check with the other dealers including Alliance and Litchfiled.

My car was provided by alliance and I am the first registered owner IM has registered the car for pan eiuropean warranty though I haven't put them to the test yet. I would suggest that if you are going to purchase one from any importer you get them to put in writing that the car will come with a Subaru pan european warranty as if not your claim will be against the supplier not subaru! (refer to trading standards web site for more info)

Import
I bought my 05 WRX from Virgin cars . I am the second owner , and the country of origin is Cyprus . As mentioned by Darko be wary , ask for written confirmation on the warranty issue , as this problem is hotting up.
It takes about 6 weeks before you get the V5 logbook, then when you get it a copy of it has to be sent back to Virgin cars in order for you to receive you service book which takes about 4 weeks to arrive.
Hope this has helped
