You cant fold down the seats on ANY Classic JDM Impreza !

He's right, they are fixed. However you can one from a EDM impreza and fit them to yours. Then you hust need to re-ulphoster to match the interior.

you can unhook them an take em out - hope you havnt bought without realising this...

Yeah but wouldn't that be a hassle to unbolt and take the seat out everytime you need to store something long into the boot?

Certainly....
quite a bit of work to swop tho - i didnt even realise it were possible

mine also had a hefty plywood separation piece carrying ****-off sized speakers ..

A few bolts and lift. U should have direct access after that from the car to the boot, although its still small, thinking of buying a dog or just 4 skis.

Take it they don't fold down in an Sti 8 either? only had a quick look the other day.

F*ck!

Picking my car up from the airport and got to put my new 18" wheels and tyres in the back with my suitcases etc!
They aint gonna fit!

They'll fit - I've carried wheels behind me on back seat - cover back seats with old sheets and duvet for padding and put wheels there.

Or 2 in boot if you take out space-saver?

Type R's are practical.....just not for carrying stuff.
