A BIT OF ADVICE PLEASE..
i know this isnt a subaru related question but anyway a friend of mine was offered a ralliart ecu for his evo 6 at a good price but hes not sure to take it or not because hes not sure if he will get any benefit from it as his car is more or less standard apart from de-cat and induction kit.i said id put a post up here as there are pleanty of guys with good general car knowledge. So is it worth his while buying it with the car as is,in other words will he notice any difference in performance or anything?? Any advice will be much appreciated as he doesnt want to spend money if its for nothing.Cheers guys.....

Must have missed his post up on the MLR
The Ralliart ECU on its own will take his boost levels up from 0.9bar to about 1.2bar - say 280bhp to 310bhp.
However! What it also gives him is the potential to fit an aftermarket boost controller and thus have the boost at 1.5bar - circa 350bhp!
Hope that helps
