Is it possible to restore the black plastic mouldings that get colour coded. Need to know if you can remove the paint without ruining the black under neath....

Depends if the paintjob was done properly. If it was, with plastic primer, it won't come off. Better to buy new, or swap with someone who wants painted ones.

Which bits are you on about?

Are you talking about the side skirts? If you are looking to restore yours to black and they are currently wr blue (02C), I'll swap with you! (I know, it's a long shot)....
